Data & account deletion

How to remove local content, optional service accounts, and store subscriptions.

Published July 15, 2026

Feature availability: account features are unavailable in app versions where their service is not configured. If an option described here is not visible in your app, that feature is not enabled in your version and there is no account to delete.

Three separate actions

Delete local data

Removes content from the current device. It does not necessarily delete an optional service account, cloud ciphertext, an exported file, or data on a paired person’s device.

Delete a service account

Removes the relevant optional sync, pairing, or download account and service-side records. Local content may remain unless the app says otherwise.

Cancel a subscription

Stops future renewal through Apple or Google. Deleting local data, an app, or an optional account does not itself cancel billing.

Before deleting

Instructions by app

Streaks Garden

  1. Delete individual habits from the habit controls if you want to keep the app.
  2. If optional sync is enabled, open Settings → Sync across devices. Choose Delete cloud copies to remove encrypted records while keeping the account, or re-enter the account password and choose Delete sync account to remove the account and cloud records. Local habits remain.
  3. To remove remaining local app data from the device, remove the app and any device backup that may restore it. Delete exported JSON backups from every location where you saved them.

Softly Noted

  1. Open Settings → Delete all journal entries to remove journal entries, notes, and local journal analytics. The reviewed bulk-delete path does not prove that separate app-private photo files are removed at the same time; remove remaining app data from the device if those copies must also be cleared.
  2. If optional sync is enabled, open Settings → Cross-device sync. Choose Delete encrypted cloud copies or re-enter the account password and choose Delete sync account. Local journal data remains unless deleted separately.
  3. Delete password-encrypted backups, CSV files, and PDF reports from any destination where you exported them.

MoonEase

  1. Remove saved mixes, favorites, reminders, or downloaded sounds using available in-app controls.
  2. If protected downloads are enabled and an identity exists, open Settings → Delete protected download account. This deletes the private download identity; downloaded audio remains on the device until removed separately.
  3. Remove the app and any restorable device backup to remove remaining local app data. Delete exported MoonEase JSON backups separately.

Gentle Range

  1. Remove custom routines and reminder choices using available controls. The reviewed build does not provide one confirmed “delete everything” control for all local Gentle Range data.
  2. If encrypted sync is enabled in a future production build, use the sync deletion controls provided in that build. Until the final flow is verified, email support for service-side deletion help.
  3. If you opted to write sessions to Apple Health or Health Connect, manage or delete those records in the relevant health app. Removing Gentle Range does not promise to remove records already written to a separate health store.
  4. Remove the app and any restorable device backup to remove remaining local app data. Delete exported Gentle Range JSON backups separately.

Our Little Thing

  1. Delete individual answers, notes, dates, memories, photos, or custom questions with their available in-app controls.
  2. If paired, Disconnect this phone removes this phone’s pair key but does not revoke the other member. Revoke pair for both blocks future shared access for both accounts.
  3. To delete the pairing login and service-side account, open the pairing screen, re-enter the account email and password, and choose Delete pairing account. Local Our Little Thing content remains on the phone.
  4. Remove the app and any restorable device backup to remove remaining local data. Delete exported Our Little Thing JSON backups separately. Memory photo files are local and are not made portable by the current Our Little Thing backup.

Kind to Me

  1. Open Settings → Delete all my Kind to Me data to remove favorites, personal affirmations, voice recordings, reminder choices, tone, speech preferences, and practice history from the device. The store purchase is not removed.
  2. If optional sync is enabled, open Settings → Cross-device sync → Delete sync account to remove the account and encrypted synced copy. Local Kind to Me data remains unless deleted separately. Recording audio is local and is not uploaded by the reviewed sync flow.
  3. Delete exported Kind to Me JSON backups separately; they may contain readable personal text and embedded voice audio.

Cancel a subscription

Use the subscription-management screen for the store account that made the purchase:

Store navigation can change. Refer to Apple or Google support if the subscription does not appear.

Request help

If an in-app service-account deletion fails, email jpottstudios@gmail.com. Include the app name and the email address used for that optional account. Do not include the account password, sync passphrase, journal content, pairing invite code, or backup file.

Because most content is local, JPott Studios may have no copy to locate or delete. We may ask for limited verification to protect the account from an unauthorized deletion request.
